I made Ina Garten's Flag Cake for the holiday weekend and I"m so proud of it I thought I would share. I have some decorating techniques to master, but man...it was good.

Okay...we've gotten the house ready for summer...or at least we are off to a good start. The flowers in front are planted and the pool is open. We just need more mulch and some warm weather to heat up the water and we're all set.
